Pocket City Farms
Pocket City Farms is a community urban farm in Camperdown, Sydney, educating over 5,000 people a year in regenerative agriculture and providing food to disadvantaged groups. Engaged through Brandkind, the project centred on a partnership campaign targeting two very different audiences: local families and small businesses to sponsor garden beds, and corporate ESG teams seeking meaningful volunteering and offsite experiences.
Like many social enterprises, Pocket City Farms had limited brand guidelines. Colours, fonts and a few distinctive assets existed, but no developed visual system. Designing social media templates without that foundation creates real risk as assets can drift and inconsistencies start to arise, quickly undermining the professionalism of the brand. Getting this right from the start mattered.
I designed a suite of Instagram post and carousel templates in Adobe, building a coherent design system from the brand material available. The goal was templates that looked polished and credible immediately, could flex across both audience contexts, and were robust enough to serve the organisation long-term without needing to be rebuilt from scratch each time.
